Webb MA(RCA)
Studying
art and design at Liverpool, North Staffordshire and the
RCA, I am a graduate of the Royal College of Art,
London where I gained an MA. I also have a post graduate
teaching qualification from Goldsmiths, University of London.
I have worked in a variety of roles
including schools and higher education. I was a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty
of Education at the University of Plymouth, and a senior manager
in Media & Resources
and also of the Computing Service.
Since 1997, I have
run my own consultancy business working on projects and providing
advice and training for business and personal clients. I
have also worked as a part time Adult & Community
Learning tutor of Digital Photography and Creative Digital
Art for Devon County Council for whom I designed and tutored
very many highly popular and successful introductory, intermediate
and advanced courses. I also work with children aged 8 - 16 years. I specialise in providing personalised, bespoke training in digital photography delivered in my clients' homes, work places or at photoshoot locations. I also offer residential and non-residential 5-day courses at the Ammerdown Centre, near Bath, as well as day courses in the beautiful county of Devon.
Locally, I regularly show and exhibit my photography, often alongside drop-in digital photography surgeries. In 2010, I held my first client's
public exhibition, images from which you can see in the website
galleries. I also enjoy providing illustrated talks to clubs, societies and similar organisations.
This richly varied background means that
I am skilled in providing friendly and relaxed
tuition on the use of digital cameras as well as image editing
software on a Windows or AppleMac computer. I am uniquely
able to train in digital
photography and creative digital art.
