Studying
art and design at Liverpool, North Staffordshire and the
RCA, Bryan Webb is a graduate of the Royal College of Art,
London where he gained his MA. He also has a post graduate
teaching qualification from Goldsmiths, University of London.
Bryan has worked in a variety of roles
including in schools and higher education. Being a senior manager
in the University of Plymouth’s Academic Services (Media & Resources
and the Computing Service), and Senior Lecturer in the Faculty
of Education.
For a number of years now, Bryan has
run his own consultancy business working on projects and providing
advice and training for business and personal clients. In
addition, he has worked as a part time Adult & Community
Learning tutor of Digital Photography and Creative Digital Art
for Devon County Council for whom he has designed and tutored
very many highly popular and successful introductory, intermediate
and advanced courses for adults ranging from 19 to 80 years of
age.
We live in an increasingly digital age.
Capturing a moment in time and making subtle or dramatic adjustments
to images are fascinating aspects of digital photography and
ones that Bryan particularly enjoys. Working as a digital artist
with a digital palette and digital canvas, or as a digital
photographer are both really engrossing activities. Due
to these interests, Bryan is a member of a highly regarded
local photography group with whom he regularly exhibits.
This richly varied background means that
Bryan is skilled in providing friendly and relaxed home-based
tuition on the use of digital cameras and/or image manipulation
software on a Windows or AppleMac computer. Bryan is uniquely
able to train those coming to him through a need for training
in digital photography or digital art.
